Radix presents at The Village School during Internship Spotlight Night
Last month, Radix joined the 2019 Internship Spotlight with the partners and interns who participated in the program last summer.
It was a great night where parents and students learned more about the program, interacted with Radix and other partners and heard about the experiential learning that took place over the summer break.
Founded in 1966, The Village School, known for its strength in math and science, encourages its students to have this real-life experience and make a positive impact around them. Koby Adu, a former internship, related his experience: “I got many opportunities to learn new things in a corporate environment. Also, the team encouraged me to share my ideas and opinion with them. This opportunity brought me the link between the classroom and real-life.”
This initiative reinforces the significant need to invest in the youth of today. “The high school interns from this summer worked on automating and optimizing internal processes. They applied what they have been learning in the classroom into the real-world experience. The students learned how to code on Python and C++ and automated and optimized internal processes”, emphasized Ana Mastrangelo, Senior Administrator at Radix US.
